The new breakfast room

It's finally completed and I think the results speak for themselves. It can seat about 30 people and works wonderfully for breakfast and for small events like weddings and other corporate events. We've plugged in a plasma for AV functionality and it's got great Air conditioning. Also the courtyard is very useable and pleasant on summer's day.

The Completed Facade

After taking the original details from a 1921 photograph we were able to recreate the exact details of the facade, Now that it's complete I think it's a pretty building and really a great restoration to the original. It's not often one can work from a photo to totally restore a building

The New Breakfast area is almost complete

After months of planning and council approval we finally started on the facade refurbishment, its been a long time coming but the work is progressing, The Architects colours are causing a few raised eyebrows but I have been assured they are historical colours. It's kind of growing on me but it's very blue

Cremorne Point New Year's Eve

Once again we have survived a New Years at the Point. As usual the hotel was booked for months in advance, but for the first time this year the police not only stopped cars from entering the point on the day, but also limited the amount of people allowed on the point. Due to the location of the hotel being only about 200 meters from the best viewing of the bridge and fireworks it inevitably is always crowded. I do have a photo from the evening.  Showing the bridge minutes before the big finale. I'll try to get the video online too.
